Observing a chart
Observing a chart
The chart here shows the percentage of adults in the United States who agree or disagree the 5 statements. Each statement is about social media and its possible effects. The scale goes from 0 to 100, 0 meaning they do not agree at all with the statement and 100 being they completely agree. They also separated the data by race, the green dots represent White adults, blue is Hispanic adults, and the dark blue is Black adults.
When observing the chart the first trend I see is that all the adults stayed in the range of 50-80 meaning none of them completely disagreed nor completely agreed with the 5 statements. I also noticed that the white adults gave lower scores (ranging from 53-62) to the possible positive impacts and higher scores(ranging 75-80) to the more negative impacts. On the other hand, the Black and Hispanic adults gave high scores (ranging 62-80) to the positive impacts and low scores (ranging 59-66) on the negative impacts.
I think this data generally shows that White adults feel more negatively towards social media and Hispanic and Black adults feel more positively towards social media.
